These delightful general fiction books are perfect for children who have been taught the 42 main letter sounds but need extra practice to build their confidence and blending fluency.

The seven sets are aligned to the letter-sound groups, so that the decodable words only use the letter sounds for that group and below. A small number of tricky words are used in the last set.

Comprehension questions and discussion topics are provided at the end of each book, as well as guidance for teachers and parents. Light type is used as a guide for those few letters that should not be sounded out, such as the /b/ in ‘lamb’.
